Then Chandra Mahal, a seven-storied palace used as the residence by the royal family, which compounded with Sukh Niwas, the living room, Sri Niwas the Mirror Palace, Chavvi Niwas, the Blue Palace and Shobha Niwas, the Ceremonial Hall. The City Palace has been designed according to a grid style and houses with various structures such as Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Diwan-I-Khas and the Govind Dev Ji Temple.

The walls and gates of the City palace express the glory of the Mughal style with various murals, lattice and mirrors. If you visit the City palace you must also visit the nearby tourist attractions such as Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Government Central Museum, Jantar Mantar and Vidhyadhar’s Garden.
