         Yayoi Kusama here has created an environment with her fantasies, now large toys and flowers that are covered in polka dots. This work is made while Kusama is in her mature years and it seems the most happy and whimsical of her work.The colors are so bright, they recall the psychedelic colors on the 1960s. Her artwork has retained its connection with the sixties and pop imagery from that era.
