This
interesting character may be an interesting self portrait of
the artist. It is biomorphic and surreal in shape, all of his
appendages rounded, balancing a Spanish hat on his head it seems.
His phallus and head are interchangeable it seems, both are colorful
and biomorphic in shape. The phallus has more features, with
an eye and mouth, while the head is striped. The character is
playfully doing a balancing act with the hat, and it seems that
Miro is balancing humor and play with reflection on his body
and life as an artist. |
