Picasso’s Weeping Woman
Picasso, 20th century’s most important figure in terms of arts, who was a great Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet and playwright, who is a only person created a unique envelope among all artists in the art world, art is way of expressing one’s thinking to others without any word steps, in this art world he created a unique fame in modern art especially peculiar in distinct style and eye for artistic creation, on one in the art world created such a mass fans and alluring paintings yet.
Though his art career expanded only 7 decade, still his fame is in pinnacle and a universal truth is a human can born in any century but never die without spell a name atleast once in a life that word is Picasso. His paintings and tactics still influences style of today artist, each and every painting of his is unique and modern; we must have a keen view while viewing his paintings, because he handled a distinct movement of painting rather than the two dimensional. Picasso’s another wonder Guernica, which is a most famous work, painted as an immediate reaction to the Nazi’s devastating casual bombing practice on the Basque town of Guernica during Spanish Civil War. Guernica painting shows the tragedies of war and how individual suffering by it and particularly innocent civilians, which serves as a monumental status and a reminder of the tragedies of war and also an anti-war symbol, and an embodiment of peace. The Guernica painting is a mixture of pastoral and epic styles and done over oil on canvas type and the bull and the horse mentioned in this painting are two important characters in Spanish culture, he used these two to explain how a war change a human life style in to darkness.(image by htgth)
Next is The Old Guitarist, which was a result of suicide death of Picasso’s close friend, during this time he carved many paintings depicting the miseries of the poor. Most alluring masterpiece of Picasso is Weeping Woman painting series, which is a continuation of the Spanish Civil War tragedy depicted in Guernica. The Weeping Woman painting expresses this excoriated face of crying woman and her dark eyes reflect how the war is crucial.
His masterpiece list will never ends if we spend our entire life to know more about its painting, biography and facts, it will not enough.
